Starting from oldest to youngest we'll begin with Coach Wilson! Louis has taken us on many adventures and we are on our biggest one yet. He is now the Head Coach at Adams State University and has turned the team around completely. His team has beaten the school record for conference wins and is now tied for overall record with 2 more games to go. They have beaten many other school records and he is the Krzyzewski of Alamosa!!! LOL! He is a very animated coach who pushes his players to the limit with a cast on his hand to prove it!!!! Thanks for everyone showing up in UT for his opening game. It was great to see the family and all the support you show!
As for myself, Alamosa has been a great town and the people are very nice here. I thought leaving California would be hard, but it has been a blessing. I love my house and the girls have lots of room to run! Its fun just to watch the girls go crazy seeing deer in our yard every morning like its the first time every time. Louis has kept me busy cooking and cleaning non-stop. I cook 45-50 lunches twice a month for fundraisers and I cook the home pre-game meals for the team. I even got to cook 3 weeks straight for the team while they were here during Christmas Break. Thank goodness I have a BIG kitchen. Its been amazing watching Lou coach and how being a Head Coach intensifies the games for me. Every now and then Lou will look up at me during the games as I yell at the refs! :) Thanks mom and dad for letting us live with you this summer! We loved spending that time with you! Who knows, maybe we'll be back this summer! LOL!!! :)
Ques lives here in Alamosa as well. He helps with both the Men's and Women's teams here. He is also the Asst Coach in our JV program and is finishing up his last class to graduate. It's been fun to watch him and Lou together down on the floor. Louis keeps him busy and it will be interesting to see if he follows in his dads footsteps.
Kaden is now with his dad in Johnson City, TN and goes to a very well known High School, Science Hill. It has been great for him to be there with his dad. His 8th grade team lost only 1 game this season, won their Conference Tournament, took 3rd in the Area Tournament and won the Sectional Tournament where other states come to play! He is now 6'4 1/2 and we're hoping he gets at least 2 more inches. I miss having him around and can't wait to see him in March! :)
Miss Keawe, our smarty pants, loves school! She is writing and drawing really well. I think we'll have another artist in the family! :) I can't believe she is going to be 5 in a couple months!!!! She just loves people and knows everyone in Wal-Mart. She really misses her family and always asks to go stay the night at Kealani's house or KuKu and TuTu's. It's so much fun to watch her and her little sister play together. They get along MOST of the time! :)
Kalea is currently potty training. She is doing good, but mommy keeps forgetting to remind her to go to the bathroom. Keawe likes to take up the big sister roll and take her sometimes. Kalea IS her daddy. Looks, personality, left handed, and all! It's amazing how they act exactly the same. STUBBORN! :) The girls both love to have tea parties and dress up. Their play room looks like a whirlwind of dresses. They even get daddy to dress up occasionally. Kalea even gets to join Keawe at school for different activities which she absolutely loves. She would fit right in being as tall as Keawe's classmates and Keawe a head taller then everyone!
We miss and love everyone so much and are very blessed to have a family like ours! Hopefully we'll get to see everyone this summer! MAHALO MOM AND DAD FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!!!!!!!!
