Louis, "Sweet Lou," had a GREAT year! Starting with the Matadors, (Cal State Northridge) the season was a rollercoaster of excitement. They started off rough, went through many obstacles and won the conference championship! To top it off we went dancing!!!! :) The matadors were chosen to play Memphis in the first round of the NCAA Tourney. I was able to fly out with Kalea to watch the game along side with Dad!!! Of course Dad wouldn't miss any event that goes on in the family! LOL! The game was by far the best game I have EVER been to! We ALMOST beat them! What a game.......what a game! By chance we also got to see Ques too. His tournament was held there as well in Kansas City. We got to watch a game of his where he played great and beat the #1 team! He also got to watch his dad almost beat Memphis as well.
SO, a few months down the road and Louis's teams, The New York Yankees won their 27th World Series and his Steelers won their 6th Super Bowl! You can't top winning in all 3 of your favorite sports! OH, I guess we can, Lou was named Associate Head Coach of Cal State Northridge! WHAT A YEAR!
KEAWE, "Sugarbaby," seems to always amaze us with her made up songs, dancing, dressing up in some outfits that aren't too bad, grown up comments that make you roll, and bringing up things from a year ago! Keawe got her first job with Little Tykes where she had a blast working on it! Not too bad to get paid to play with toys!!! The video will come out sometime at the end of Spring at Toys R Us! I will keep you all posted!
Keawe loves being a big sister and they get along great, most of the time! Keawe LOVES to make lemonade with her dad for her lemonade stand! That she gives for free! :) She also likes to cook every chance she gets. Keawe has become quite an artist and loves to paint/draw and go to the jungle gym with mom! One of her favorite times is bath time with Kalea playing with her tea set!
KALEA, "Little Lou", is quite the busy bee: climbing the stairs, writing on the walls, hitting her sister, dancing to music, throwing her food, tossing toys down the stairs, running in circles, screaming her lungs out, taking her clothes off, opening cabinets, turning off the TV, turning on the lights, talking NONSTOP, breaking cell phones, banging on the drums, beating on the pots, making forts, eating, eating, eating, poopin, poopin, poopin, emptying the toy box, silverware drawer, and diaper basket over and over again. WHEW! Wears me out just thinking about it! My little firecracker!! She also loves to give hugs, kisses, and snuggle! (Just for a moment though) She is starting to repeat words and loves to sing Ring Around The Rosies and the Barney song. She has also started writing with Keawe and I think we have a south paw like her daddy! We also got Kalea an agent, but uh, don't think she's having it with her personality! LOL!
It has been a great year for me as well. I love spending my time at home with the girls. There is never a dull moment! Kaden likes to keep me on my toes as well being a teenager, looking like a grown man. Ques ready to graduate from college this Spring! Going to Louis's games with the kids AND without! Taking the girls from
audition to audition. Cleanin, cookin, cleanin, cookin, and cleaning some more! Decorating the house for different occasions. Which our New Year's was by far the best! Louis wanted a New York, Times Square theme. So the house was transformed into NYC! Brought in pizzas from NYC and all. We love Cali, but miss the family. Keawe goes on and on about slumber parties at Kealani's house and seeing Grandma and Grandpa! We miss and love you all!!! We especially miss Grandma May. We are very thankful she has been reunited with Grandpa where she's belongs!
XOXOXOXO
