Barton's 2009 the end

A U G U S T

August 8th, Jackson's 14th birthday.
We met kuku and tutu, the Fonua's, Kai, Mikayla and Koa for a feast at the 'Rama and then spent the evening at the Summit County Fair. Jackson is very content to hang out. He works hard in his sports and is always making an effort to please everyone. He likes to boss the younger ones around, which is nice when I am tired of being the nag. He grows every day and it is hard to keep him in shoes that fit. He loves it when you call him big!
My big Jackson boy still has a kind heart and always gives his mom loves.

I took Dani & Lander to San Diego, CA for a wedding.
Seaworld & the beach kept us busy in our spare time.

Little erin married adam buie on aug 11th. Dani was the flower girl and surprised erin by singing 'Crazy for You' (Adele's version). Here we come American Idol.

School started the end of the month.
To cheer us up, we stayed a weekend at the Canyons for a last summer swim, in the rain.

Little man Kavehi got baptized this month. Such a handsome little dude.
Loved all the sleep overs we had with Kealani & Kavehi last year.

Mikki and Dani traveled to California to watch Kate play volleyball and hang on the beach for a weekend.
We are jealous aunt Andi, we love California livin'.
We spent Halloween cheering on Kavika at his championship football game.

Cody has a Happy 13th on Friday the 13th.
He loves to play sports, he loves to hunt, he loves to ride horses, he loves the Utes, he loves to hang with his friends. Cody does everything with passion and does most everything very well. He knows how to write a pretty good letter when trying to get something out of us. He almost had a cell phone, maybe next year. I am sure he won't give up trying.
I like his determination to succeed!
We love our Co-Co's.

Jackson played for Wasatch this year and had a great undefeated season. His team took it all the way to the Ship! The team wants him to come play next year in Heber. He felt so good about himself. It was a great feeling for him to be wanted!

Grandma May gathered her family for one last time in Rockland, Idaho to remind them:
"The goal of our life is, has always been and will always be,
to be an eternal family.
ALL together forever and ever and ever!!!!!
-Richard Allen & Dorothy B. May 1996

Thanksgiving in Idaho Falls. Loved the time with families, missed those that were not there. We need to all get on a holiday schedule.
Next year we will be in Hawaii at Christmas. And hopefully so will you.

The boys slayed the ducks for a weekend, Paul & I enjoyed a love weekend in LA and the third weekend was filled with family gatherings, feasting, and enjoying all that comes with the Christmas season.

Christmas in Cali. with the Barton's. Go Utes @ the Poinsettia Bowl!

Happy 6th Lander man. He will tell you that Jesus is his first favorite, then dad and then mom. I am the one he comes to for love and dad is the one he goes to for everything hunting, exploring and sports. I am enjoying my last year with him around the house in the afternoon. He can throw a good spiral, shoot a great jump shot & hit any pitch I throw him.
Lander loves to dance to "Your a jerk, I know. Your a jerk, I know"

New years in downtown SLC.
2009 was great and 2010 looks to be even better.
CHEERS!
, Mikki, Jackson, Cody,
Dani, Lander & our last surviving dog, Sadie.
