Keegan, BJ, Kekoa, Miklyn, Marissa and Izzi

Well I thought my post was in on time and done. Guess I was wrong, thanks Grandma Li. Another year come and gone and 40 just around the corner. Whoa, time needs to sloooowww down just a little bit. This has been a great year. There hasn't been very much work, well alot of house work. I came out of basketball retirement, and proceeded to blow out my achilles tendon. So needless to say, I have spent most of this year chillen, ahhh. But enough about me, lets get to the good stuff.
BJ has really picked up the slack this year. She's still working for the Post and still teaches dance, but also works part time at Aeropostale, and in her spare time cleans up after me and the kids. I told her 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. wasn't that bad and she ought to stock shelves at night for Albertsons, but does she ever listen to me! I'm sure this has been a memorable year for her, one she most likely will not let me forget. Just kidding, she's been awesome and hopefully with my foot healing and no setbacks thing will be a little easier this year. However, the kids really love all the Aeropostale gear.

Koa had a busy busy year. He started off the spring and summer with alot of travel basketball. With his school team they played up a grade against all the summer comp teams, and won 4 of the 5 weekend tournements and took second to a really good Provo team in the other. His summer highlight though was the Idaho Allstar Football Game. His team lost but he was pobably the defensive MVP on his team. It was a really great expereince for him and he had alot of fun that week. As a freshman at Hillcrest Koa was the defensive captain on the football team. He had a great year both offensively and defensively. He led the team in receptions as a tightend and had 86 tackles on the year at outside linebacker. The team went 8-1 and were the undefeated champs in the confercence. Basketball didn't go quite as well this year. They ended up 7-13, but four of the freshmen were moved up this year. It did give Koa a chance to play alot more and pobably helped him get better. Although they lost alot of games it was fun watching him play all season. Now he just needs to stick his head in the books and study study study. He is a smart talent kid and we love him alot.

Miklyn is our dancing machine. I think thats all she ever does, from one end of the house to the other. She's an awesome dancer, probably better then alot of the older girls at the studio, but don't tell her I said that cause her head might pop. She says one day I'm going to be on the show So You Think You Can Dance.
Her studio Is the best in the area and won alot of awards in cometitions last spring. They were ivited to perform two of their dances for the Odessy Dance Company in Salt Lake which was a huge honor for them. Besides dance Miklyn works very hard in school to get very good grades. Hopefully she keeps working as hard as she does in everthing she tries. You go girl.

Marissa, Marissa, Marissa, our little goofball. She always does and says the craziest things. We are always laughing at our dobber. Besides being the humor in the family she also likes to dance and wants to be just like her big sister. We never have a problem finding her either cuase shes the tallest girl out there, but also one of the best. She did a great job in her first year of competitions and loves it to death. However, I think she's a better basketball player. She's one of those kids who just get it and is head and shoulders above the rest. I coached her team this past year and we had 13 girls, boy what alot of fun that was. But its a good bunch of girls and she's the best of the lot. Marissa is also a great student and very bright. School is easy for her, but getting her to read is a different story. A chip off the block.

Couldn't find a recent pic of Izzi, but he's a big dumb oaf, afraid of his own shadow, but we all love him. Well until next year, pizeace out and love you all.
